If you received a block on a wiki, that means your rights to edit have been revoked because you probably replaced a page with "fjdksla" or whatever. If you don't follow the rules on a wiki, you might face a ban. Keep in mind you can be blocked for a variety of reasons.

What happens when you get blocked?

If you get blocked on one wiki, you'll lose access to some features, depending on the severity of the broken rule. You'll lose access to such as editing, using message walls, emailing other editors, or adopting a wiki.

If you get hit with a global block, you will not be able to edit at all. Attempting to log out and edit anonymously or creating new accounts are also prohibited by Wikia, hence they will just ban them instantly.

Where can you find information about a block?

Simple, comes up as a notification when you edit a page or your contributions page.

How do you resolve a block?

There are three ways to get blocks removed:

Wait for it to expire

If you got temp-banned, then you can just wait for the block to expire.

If you believe you got blocked in error, you will have to file a counter-notification. This form below details a full counterclaim:

(Ban message here)

I consent to the jurisdiction of the user who blocked me, the judicial district in which the headquarters of Wikia is located, and will accept service of process from the claimant.

I swear, under penalty of perjury, that I have a good faith belief that I was blocked as a result of a mistake or misidentification of me to be blocked.
