Here are the latest technical updates at Wikia. Keep in mind that our system updates happen every Wednesday, so we’re posting this on a Tuesday to give you advance notice. Also note that we change hundreds of tiny details every week, so these are just the highlights.
Major Bugs Fixed[]
- Some users were still getting watchlist mail even when unsubscribed from all emails.
- IE8 users had some issues using global navigation bar items.
- Clicking on thumbnails in the 'Appears on these pages' section of file pages could take you to a page called 'Undefined'.
- Darwin: Search Suggest was not working when the search box was in the right rail.
Other Notable Changes[]

- Followed Forum and Wall threads are now bolded on RecentChanges, like other followed pages. Thanks to TK-999, one of the Volunteer Developers, for this!
Select Known Issues[]
- Admins automatically unfollow a Forum thread when changing highlight status.
