Ok, I need to get some things off my chest. Right now I am using the open door policy (something I learned working at Wal-Mart in the past). I feel as though I have been abandoned by many people. Even if I email wikia, they will not answer any of my emails (none of my past emails were answered). My old account was different. But, I gave them such a hard time that I think that was the reason why they stopped responding to me. They never even fixed the bug on my forum page that was ticketed in days ago. Me and Annabeth had to suffer with a broken forum. I am not reporting anything right now, I am just getting some things off my chest. So, please do not judge me.
Another thing that bothers me is, I can't even go in chat without Saturate harass…Read more >
I just wanted to apologize and share something. Please be careful on how you present yourself to others on here. It might just be a tag. Even if you didn't know, it's best to learn all the tags on community central. I made a mistake by presenting myself as a "helper" not knowing that was a tag. I made a big mistake. I thought my leg was being pulled in chat when I was told it was a real position on here. I figured because I helped that I was a helper. That's not how it works. I can't really call myself much of anything except a standard user who helps people. If I had a name to use to express what I do here on wikia, I would just have to say I am a user with some knowledge and a lot of time on my hands lol. Well, I'll most likely find anot…Read more >
Ok, I just want to make something clear. When you use an account, you are responsible for that account. Do not blame it on other people or say you share the same name with someone else. 9/10 times that person is lying. If you have to share a wikia name with someone else, you probably shouldn't be using wikia at all. Also, I honestly don't believe it. I'm not trying to say everyone is a liar, but we've had this happen before where someone would come on saying they were banned, but it isn't their fault because they share a name. It is indeed their fault.
When you sign up with wikia, you basically agree to the terms of using an account, which leaves you responsible and nobody else. Whether you share a name or not (which most people are lying t…Read more >
I'd like to start a tech team and really get things moving in the right direction. If you have ideas for wikia inventions, please share. I would like a team to work with on this. It seems that the client for Wikia was already invented, but it doesn't mean we can't improve it. There are other ideas we can come up with well. If we put our heads together, we can come up with new neat stuff. The infobox is being worked on by a great team here on wikia. It would be great if a lot of you help with some of the ideas. The project has been going well.
If anyone wants to help contribute new ideas for the wikia client, I'd like to hear them as well. We can do whatever we can to improve the project. Also, those who work with IRC for Wikia are free to d…Read more >
Well, I wanted to start off by saying, Happy Valentines Day!
We are now coming closer to a new generation for Wikia. We have seen rapid changes in the past and surprises are yet to come. Do you remember when Fandom started? It wasn't too long ago.
Wikia has pulled off some amazing techniques with both the help of the admin and staff. I've seen new faces and I have seen new accomplishments. I am happy to say that I am one of those who help Wikia to be a better place.
One of the things I wanted to share is the relationship between founders and their admins. Of course we need admins for every wikia page. The problem is trust and loyalty. Find an admin isn't always easy. Everyone wants to come into general chat and seek out admins. A lot of the t…Read more >
