This is a continuation of the discussion on the talk page of Sannse. Please comment here rather than on the talk page. I think this has been a very intriguing debate so far.

"Hello Sannse!

I'd like to let you, and the rest the Wikia staff here on Community Central know about an apparant problem user here on this wiki. His user name is Charitwo, and he a part of the Volunteer Spam Task Force. Recently, he has blocked two users with any clear warning, and will not give a descriptive reason for the blocks besides "Disruptive Behavior". Hopefully, as a staff member, you can review these with a non-biased viewpoint and resolve this issue.

Here are the contributions and talk pages for the users involved:

Thanks for your time! MontagnaMagica|Talk 23:06, June 21, 2011 (UTC)

Charitwo did nothing wrong. Bryce and X2 were blocked for good reason. Blocks are not to be discussed with users that it does not pertain to.--GodPray  23:09,6/21/2011

Well, what was the reason? I couldn't find anything that seems worthy of a three-month, or infinite block. Is it possible that the contributions are not being shown because they were reverted? MontagnaMagica|Talk 23:12, June 21, 2011 (UTC)

Do not worry about. Bryce and X2 know what they have done and that is all that matters. You are not Bryce or X2 and therefore you do not need to know why they were blocked.--GodPray  23:16,6/21/2011
I really think that you should tell the community why they were blocked. It would encourage us not to repeat their mistakes and it would allow us to trust the staff more fully. -Isdrakthül 23:32, June 21, 2011 (UTC)
To find what they did wrong, look in their contributions. Head.Boy.Hog (Talk To Me) 23:37, June 21, 2011 (UTC)
I have seen their contributions, but that's exactly what confuses me. I can't find anything serious enough to deserve these blocks. MontagnaMagica|Talk 23:39, June 21, 2011 (UTC)
This is not the place for these discussions. Blocks on other users are not a topic of discussion. If you feel the block was done unjustly, Special:Contact is your friend. Please stop this line of questioning. It will get no one anywhere. Rappy 23:43, June 21, 2011 (UTC)
Okay, new line of questioning, then. Why aren't we allowed to discuss the blocks of other users? What is there to lose by being open about the blocking process? -Isdrakthül 23:51, June 21, 2011 (UTC)
It's a privacy issue on behalf of the user in question. If you were blocked on a wiki, would you be OK with everyone on the wiki discussing it? Rappy 00:15, June 22, 2011 (UTC)
Certainly. It's their right to discuss whatever they want to, as long as they keep it PG. That said, I see what you're saying, although I don't necessarily agree that this should prevent the community from knowing why its members are blocked. -Isdrakthül 00:18, June 22, 2011 (UTC)
If the user deserves the ban, then does it really matter if they're embarrassed about it? They should be since that would encourage them to not do it again. If the user didn't deserve the ban, then there is absolutely nothing to be embarrassed about. MontagnaMagica|Talk 00:31, June 22, 2011 (UTC)

Regardless of both of your arguments, the policy is what is it. Direct your arguments to Special:Contact and stop flooding this page with futile debate. Rappy 00:39, June 22, 2011 (UTC)

I'm going to move this discussion to User blog:MontagnaMagica/Questions about banning. Let's continue this discussion there! MontagnaMagica|Talk 00:47, June 22, 2011 (UTC)"
