Minecraft Playstation Wiki

Greetings. This is a blog about the Minecraft Playstation Wiki, a community I adopted in May after its long period of inactivity.

Minecraft Playstation Wiki is a community about the PlayStation editions of Minecraft (Minecraft: PlayStation 3 Edition, Minecraft: PlayStation 4 Edition, and Minecraft: PlayStation Vita Edition). Some information is imported from the Minecraft Wiki, but is reworded, and is fit provide information on the PlayStation editions. Are you a Minecraft fan? Do you play the PlayStation editions, and have a lot of knowledge on them? Then, if so, this might be a community fit for you!

This community was created on September 14, 2013, by Dblcut3. He didn't really make many contributions, but he did promote other users to administrator. While he continued to contribute to other FANDOM communities, he abandoned this community for a while, and April 30, 2017, was exactly one year after he made his last contribution on April 30, 2016.

I actually discovered this community in February of this year when I joined the Minecraft Wiki. I was deciding whether to contribute to this one or the other one, but I decided to edit on the Minecraft Wiki, where I started editing and eventually became a rollback.

However, this community never left my mind, and on May 4, 2017, I decided to join the Minecraft Playstation Wiki. Everything was pretty much the same as how it was in February - inactive. No active admins, no active users, and there hasn't been an edit in over a year. So, I started contributing - cleaning up articles, adding articles, adding images, and simply helped with the community. Three days later, on May 7, 2017, I created an adoption request. This can be found here.

On that same day, a user named User:TheGamingMaster joined the community and started helping out. I agreed that if my adoption was successful, I would promote him to administrator.

Then, on May 12, 2017, Merrystar approved the adoption and granted me bureaucrat and administrator rights. On the same day, I promoted TheGamingMaster to administrator.

Today, I seem to be the only active user at this community. TheGamingMaster is semi-active at best, and I try to contribute everyday and keep the articles and MediaWiki on the community.

The wiki currently has 66 articles, 3 active users, and 1,395 edits since its creation. So, by these stats, it's pretty obvious that this wiki is not very active, nor does it have lots of content.

While it is great to help the community out, and it's great to make it better and better, I think that this community could use some more active users. Help is appreciated, and I hope that this wiki can become the best it could be!

Thank you for any help,
