Hi everybody! As 2018 starts to rapidly approach, I have decided that it would be a good time to have a blog of evaluation. Personally, I have always imagined every new year as an opportunity. A clean slate. A chance to change. Most years, I have succeeded. The question is: will you?

Evaluating Your Place[]

Everybody has a place here on FANDOM. Everybody wants to have a certain recognition here on FANDOM. Some people receive recognition that they might not want, while others don't receive that which they potentially deserve. More often than not, users tend to have aspirations for certain positions- particularly administrator- while a select few are content without rights. Even so, there is always room for an individual to grow.

Why Grow?[]

Now, let's be honest. How many people are willing to admit they have a flaw that serves as a barrier for their goals? Some people, albeit rare, will confess to the occasional error/flaw, and instead, direct onto another individual's faults. But, the thing is... If people go around assuming they are top dog, then are they really opening the door for opportunity of change? Quite frankly, there is not a single person here who is perfect. That is why all users should focus their efforts on their growth.

Core Values vs. Behavior[]

Before you go and change every little thing about you in order to achieve something, bear in mind that there is a huge difference between changing your core values and changing your behavior. You can easily change your behavior without having to change who you are deep inside, but if you're changing who you are to affect your behavior.. well, that isn't the kind of change you should be aiming for.
For example, I believe that pineapples do not belong on pizza. Which is okay, I can talk about it because it is true. But, if I change how I discuss it, does that mean I like pizza with pineapple? No. However, if I change the fact that I do not enjoy Hawaiian pizza just for the sake of changing my actions regarding such- then that is a problem.

In Conclusion[]

2018 is going to be whatever year you make it. Just remember not to lose yourself in the process. Who you are now versus who you will become is completely up to you.
