Technical Update: May 30, 2016

Here are the latest technical updates at Wikia. Keep in mind that our system updates happen every Tuesday and Thursday - today's notes are for tomorrow's site update. Also note that we change hundreds of tiny details every week, so these are just the highlights.

Major Bug Fixes

Detailed CSS updates can be found at http://report.wikia.net - the diffs show changes to .css, .scss, .tmpl.php, .html, .sass and .mustache files in Wikia's codebase.

• The location of the right rail Chat guidelines message will be corrected.
• On mobile devices, when landing on a page that doesn't exist, tapping the 'Use Navigation or Search' link will now correctly open the navigation UI.

Select Known Issues

• Search is currently experiencing issues - the team are working on getting it back to normal.
• The global navigation bar sometimes shows misaligned - a fix is being worked on.
