Community Contest - May the best wiki win

Do you have an awesome wiki you would like everyone to know about when they visit Wikia? Well now is your chance to tell us all about it!

You have until June 29 to let us know why your community should be featured on the main page of www.wikia.com. Please use the space below to tell us, in your most creative voice, why your wiki deserves to be on Wikia.com for two weeks in July. In 250 words or less, highlight why your wiki's content, design, growth and community make it special.

Wikis of all sizes and topics are encouraged to enter. Please remember to be a good Wikian, and don't leave any discouraging comments about other wikis. At 5:00pm Pacific time on June 29th, we will close the contest to entries. All entries must be submitted here in order to be considered. The winner will be announced in early July.

So chat with your community about your entry, then submit it here. Remember to provide links to examples you use, and while you wait to hear who the winner is, keep improving your wiki! We look forward to hearing lots of funny, interesting tidbits about all of the amazing wikis on Wikia!

Some of my wikias do need some publicity. That's all I'll say. It's not about winning or losing, just as long as people know what you have is all that matters.

the d20 NPCs wiki is a vast repository of over 1750 individual Non-Player Characters (NPCs) created for Role Playing Game leaders (GMs) to use in their game tonight! It's both a great place for GMs to get content as well as submit content they've created, creating a true give-and-take that is what a Wiki context is really all about. It integrates with the Dungeons and Dragons wiki. Pathfinder, and other RPG wikis within Wikia to be a proud player in the Wikia Gaming hub.

Although this is not one of the best wikis on the site, One Tree Hill Wikia has grown majorly since the takeover of 2 admins. Not only has it begun adding information about the show, comments are being added about fan's dedication to the show and happenings on the show.
It is a wiki that does need help and can only grow further. The new layout, presentation and features represents how far this wikia has come on from when it was first taken over.
This growth and fan's dedication to One Tree Hill shows why this wiki deserved to be featured and more publicity should be provided for the site

The Borderlands wikia (borderlands.wikia.com) is a great site. It has a great community, and due to the nature of the game, people are constantly brainstorming for ideas to send to Gearbox (see forum:new_legendary_weapon_ideas). The game is getting constant support, and because of it, the wiki is too. We are growing constantly, and have a good set of editors. That is why I beleive the BL wiki should be on the front page.

The CAW Wikia is a good wikia. I have a good team set to minimize trolling, make daily contributions, and keep things organized.

I'm very proud of the Dutch 'bedrijven-wikia' (http://nl.bedrijven.wikia.com). I started this wikia eight months ago and added a lot of content about many companies. What I need is a little bit attention, because there are not many people who contribute to this wikia. Wikia's in other languages are not so easy to find since the search-functionality changed. Maybe this can be fixed as well. Cheers, Tim

My wikia dragonicans.wikia.com ok because it got a main page that display the information of what companies publish the game Dragonica Online. Later on, I want to create a new article that shows a list of things in alphabetical order. When people post things it will be alphabetically organize automatically. In which case, I don`t know how to do. Can you please tell me how do I create a list of things page in alphabetically? Thank You.

i'll be honest. out of the 7.5 billion people in the world, only 20 of them have any relevence to what my wiki is about, the micronation The Technological Federation of Erephisia, and i dont imagine a wiki about an obscure micronation is going to rate high in a world list of greatest wikis. However if my wiki did become more accesable through this contest, more people around the world may be interested in my country. even though I didnt expect anyone in the universe, let alone the world, to be interested in my nation, it would be nice for it to become more well known, and out of the three equally unknown wikis I maintain, i am most commited to my micronations wiki, so please, when you are choosing the winner, can you consider my wiki, although i wouldn't be surprised if you didn't. thank you.

My wiki Looney City Citizen doesn't have a lot of publicity, and yet I'm trying to work on it, thankfully some people are helping me. It could have a loat full of articles, if we keep working at it.

Wikia Novelas is a great and fun wiki. All users have to do is write their own stories and present them to the world. Most stories are good and others are not well-made, but at least the users have been trying hard. The stories in Wikia Novelas can be reviewed and rated by others, including the administrators. My stories are online and I hope people get to check them out.

Most definately Wookieepedia, its clean, large, friendly, and most informative. Its an old wiki, one that has many years of experience behind it while still maintaining completely up to date and concise information from the entire spectrum of the Star Wars universe.

Our wiki (transformers2005.wikia.com) has over 2000 pages and a devoted following of editors and players. TF2k5 RPG is a community, and the wiki is a living encyclopedia of our theme & time-line (a lot has happened since 2005!). As one of the longest online RPGs around, there is a lot of information widely available on the web site.
