Community Contest - May the best wiki win

Do you have an awesome wiki you would like everyone to know about when they visit Wikia? Well now is your chance to tell us all about it!

You have until June 29 to let us know why your community should be featured on the main page of www.wikia.com. Please use the space below to tell us, in your most creative voice, why your wiki deserves to be on Wikia.com for two weeks in July. In 250 words or less, highlight why your wiki's content, design, growth and community make it special.

Wikis of all sizes and topics are encouraged to enter. Please remember to be a good Wikian, and don't leave any discouraging comments about other wikis. At 5:00pm Pacific time on June 29th, we will close the contest to entries. All entries must be submitted here in order to be considered. The winner will be announced in early July.

So chat with your community about your entry, then submit it here. Remember to provide links to examples you use, and while you wait to hear who the winner is, keep improving your wiki! We look forward to hearing lots of funny, interesting tidbits about all of the amazing wikis on Wikia!

    The Unofficial Ubuntu Wiki is currently a force of one, me. It is an information wiki that would be of interest to the Ubuntu user particularity those very new to the OS which is why I believe it should be featured.

    The real Dead Rising Wiki. Normally I wouldn't need to ask for a wiki spotlight or mainpage feature, but someone has created a second Dead Rising Wiki, and they won't respond to any messages. I assume they are trying to outdo the real wiki, and I think it would show everyone that the one we have is the real one if it gets a main page spot.

    The Mega64 Wiki is a newly created wiki that gives an underrated internet comedy group a full encyclopedia that they deserve. The wiki was spread on the Mega64 forums and thus it consists of a closely connected fan community that share the same interest. Members are welcoming and friendly to each other and it's a great way to get fans of the same show together.

    MONSTER HUNTER wiki by far. without Id of got nowhere in the game, the content is ALL good and ALL helpfull, there is a large community, all helping to improve the the wiki and keep it looking good. Seriously, i think monster hunter wiki deserves this award.

    My wiki, the Press Start wiki (http://pressstart.wikia.com/wiki/Press_Start_Wiki) is very underdeveloped simply because not too many people use it. I can't possibly make all the edits myself. The Press Start wiki needs a much bigger userbase!

    My wiki, Shin chan Wiki, is a Spanish wiki of the manga and anime Crayon Shin-Chan. I've created this wiki for the desire to collect and show all information about Shin Chan. Actually we have 65 articles in Spanish.

    This wiki has progressed very fast from his creation, to now.

    Lost Panet is describable in one word only - brilliant. There are numerous reasons as to why Lost Planet wiki is fantastic, however I feel that the highest promise for it is that it continues to get new writers and cooperators that expand the database every waking day.

    I think my wikia--camphalf-blood.wikia.com-- is the best wiki because it has everything to do with the newest Percy Jackson series--The Heroes of Olympus. It has the info on all the new characters and the updates on the old ones everyone loves!!!

    Grandia Wikia (www.grandia.wikia.com) is a slowly growing wikia that is frequently visited by fans of the series. I am sure there are many more potential contributers out there that we want to reach. I personally have tried to umprove the visual appeal of the wikia by adding a banner at the top - dispite my limited knowledge of using the monaco template. I try to encourage users to apply character templates wherever possible as well as adding pictures where needed. Please help us to expand our community even furthur...

    Hello I am BlazeCannon15. One of the top editors of Bakugan Wikia. I would like to to say that our wiki has reahed it's 700 article, we have many images for the people and the Bakugan there. All the Anime appearances of them in the anime what they have done important episode by episode on their article pages. I even put what ability cards, and gate cards that appear in the anime. I put there effects all right in very. Ask Abce2 No: 1 editor on the wikia and Rec the picture pro of the wikia. Thanks to them and many other small users we have given info on our blogs on the bakugan toys that have been made by SpinMaster Company. I think this is much to give. I hope you read this

    I think my wikia "Our Reviews Wiki" would be great because we're a wikia page and give information on media and such and we also give the reader opprotunities to review or share they're opinion on a topic they feel they should express themselves on. So far we don't have that many articles because we're not that well known. I think this would be a great way to put ourselves on the map.
