Just a quick announcement that tomorrow May 5th at 11am PDT David Beall of SFHomeless Wiki will be participating in a webinar hosted by Techsoup called, "Collaborate with Wiki". The webinar is geared towards non-profit groups who are interested in learning more about how to use wikis. The description states, "this free webinar will review the basics of wikis, including software options, best practices, advantages, as well as drawbacks. It will also include discussions with a nonprofit professional and librarian, both of whom are effectively using wikis."

If you are interested in joining the webinar, please sign up on Techsoup. You can also join the event in Second Life.

It should be an interesting discussion on the different ways wikis are being used by non-profit groups to aid them in their missions. If you can't make the webinar, I will post the link here of the recording for you to watch at a later time.
