    Hey all!

    Since this is something I don't see touched upon frequently, I thought I'd write a blog about it. Today I'll be telling you how best to deal with disruption on wikis. Like my previous blog, “mod/moderator” and the like will refer to both mods and admins when it comes to chat.

    So you see someone join chat and start breaking the rules in some way.

    You politely inform them that what they're doing is against the rules and they continue anyway. I see a lot of people try to tell said users to "shut up", or "stop it already", but that doesn't help the situation, and more often than not, just causes the user to keep doing what they're doing.     Today I’ll be talking about some do’s and don’ts if you get banned from Community Central Chat, in the event that you aren’t sure what course of action to take. In this blog I’ll be using “moderator/mod” to refer to both chat moderators and administrators, as far as chat matters go.

    Note: If you legitimately think that your ban was a mistake, you can skip straight to step 2. Otherwise, please read on!

    If you’re confused about the reason, check your ban reason or see if the moderator or who banned you left a message on your wall. If neither of these these things help, you can leave a respectful (that part is important) message on the banning mod’s wall to ask for clarification on why you were banned.

    Hello everyone, I'm Vera, and today I'll be offering some tips on how to ask for technical assistance on this wiki. I'm certainly no expert with code (far from it, actually) but I've seen a few things and just want to help improve everyone's experience on CC.

    One of the most common things I see users asking for help with on chat is importing scripts, frequently from the Wikia Developers Wiki, or Dev Wiki if you prefer. It can be really easy to get confused with imports, so the first thing to do is make sure you read the script's instructions correctly.
