Fix for redirect pages on dark-themed wikias

Ysbert August 27, 2014 User blog:Ysbert

Redirect pages use an image for the arrow before the link. On dark-themed wikis, this looks very bad. A simple fix for this issue is this:

/* Redirect pages */
.redirectMsg > img {
    display: none;
.redirectText:before {
    content: "↳ ";
    font-size: 2em;

Add this code to the CSS of your wiki and the symbol will appear in the right colour and in ultra HD, since it is a character.

Of course, you can tweak the symbol further by now.

Orange big arrow:

.redirectText:before {
    content: "↳ ";
    font-size: 4em;
    color: orange;

A different text:

.redirectText:before {
    content: "This page redirects to ";

Try them out at your personal CSS. This will not affect the look of the wiki for other people.
