Technical Update: May 4, 2015

Here are the latest technical updates at Wikia. Keep in mind that our system updates happen every Tuesday and Thursday - today's notes are for tomorrow's site update. Also note that we change hundreds of tiny details every week, so these are just the highlights.

Major Bugs Fixed

• Pagination on Blog listing pages will be restored.

Other Notable Changes

Detailed CSS updates can be found at http://report.wikia.net - the diffs show changes to .css, .scss, .tmpl.php, .html, .sass and .mustache files in Wikia's codebase.

• The Hero Image module will be temporarily unavailable, on both new and existing wikias. The adoption of it and interest in it has been great, which is why we need to move it out of "Beta" with some behind-the-scenes updates. We're upgrading the code and it'll be back as a full-fledged feature soon! Communities that currently have it enabled will still be able to disable it via WikiFeatures. However, once disabled, it can not be enabled again.
