Laura A. Schweigman is an American motion picture producer. She is an Associate Producer for Treme. She has worked on the first and second seasons. She has also worked with Treme co-creator David Simon on The Wire and Generation Kill.

Career[]
Schweigman began her career as a location department intern for Young Americans in 2000. She joined the crew of The Wire as an assistant to the writers for the second season in 2003. She was a producer and post production supervisor for the short film Hitch (2004). She became an assistant to David Simon for the The Wire's third season in 2004. She was an Associate Producer for the reality medical series Critical Hour: Shock Trauma in 2005.
She returned to The Wire as Simon's assistant for the fourth season in 2006. She also served as the script supervisor for the second unit. She remained in both of these roles for the fifth and final season in 2008.
She was the script co-ordinator and Simon's assistant for his next show, the HBO miniseries Generation Kill. She was the script supervisor for the straight to video film Hit and Run (2009).
She joined the crew of Treme as an Associate Producer for the first season in 2010. She remained in this role for the second season in 2011.
