Here are the release notes for FANDOM's code release scheduled for March 12, 2018:
- BUGFIX: Using a URL shortcut (such as c.wikia.com) will no longer cause a
?title=
parameter to be added to the resulting URL. - BUGFIX: We will fix a situation where some wrapped wikitext could be forced onto new lines in the classic rich text editor.
- BUGFIX: We will fix an issue where the
categorytree
extension could display error messages in the wrong language. - BUGFIX: Thanks to KockaAdmiralac, the following three issues will be fixed:
- An issue where closing the Help:Classic editor preview before it fully loads will result in a tiny preview when it is next opened.
- An issue where template names containing namespaces names could result in bad links on Special:Insights/nonportableinfoboxes.
- An issue where the portably infobox migration tool would behave incorrectly for templates that are subpages.
- BUGFIX: We recently fixed a bug that causes article layouts to break in Community Apps and Game Guides. If you are still seeing images fading out and links not working, make sure to completely quit and restart the app.
- BUGFIX: We recently ran a script to fix several thousand broken videos that had remained after a bug was fixed a few years ago.
- NOTABLE: ImportJS will become available across all wikis, allowing Dev Wiki imports without needing to ask for community JS to be enabled on a wiki.
- NOTABLE: In preparation for eventual HTTPS migration, we are running a script to update custom community CSS to reference HTTPS versions of images (rather than HTTP versions).
